Islamic Ethics in Dialogue with Socrates, Jesus, and Confucius

Abstract
This paper argues that Islamic ethics is a retaliatory ethics only at
the socio-political level. In personal morality, it resembles the
ethics of Socrates and Jesus of not returning wrong for wrong. A
comparison is also undertaken with Confucian ethics.
